Dear Raymond,
My great great grandfather, David Kimber was born c1833, son of Thomas Kimber and Mercy Holloway. Their son Christopher Joseph Kimber (my great grandfather) was a Baker in Basingstoke. Your website is great and I came across a few Kimber names! I thought you might like the attached photos...
In the first photo the man with the beard in the middle is David Kimber (with baby on knee). I think the lady to his left is his wife Mary Mattingly Rampton (his wife). I am unsure who the others are.
In the second photo from left are Christopher Joseph Kimber, unknown, David Kimber, unknown, Annie Kimber (nee Oliver, CJ Kimber's wife). If anyone can identify them I would be over the moon! Warm Regards, |
