Jan 21, 2007 'Dear Raymond, I was most interested in reading your book about Pamber Heath. My name is Norman Cooper and I was born in Fir Tree Cottage, number 10 Burney Bit, on 6th February 1946, the son of Mabel Cooper (formerly Monger) and Harry Cooper. My older brother informed me that the picture on page 21 is not a picture taken at his wedding but does show my mother, her mother, her sister Annie, and other members of the family at another wedding but not sure whose.

Left-right: Nancy Stroud, Harry Cooper with Maud Cripps in front, Mabel Monger, Elizabeth Monger with Pearl Thomas in front.

Unfortunately my mother suffered from ill health most of my childhood and she died when I was only twelve years old. My father lived well into his nineties and passed away in 1992. I am sending you two of their wedding photo's, one taken at Fir Tree Cottage, with this e-mail. I hope you receive them as I am not an expert working a computer. I hope they will be of interest to you.

Best wishes, '
